Partnering with patients and the public as co-researchers in wounds research

Patient and public engagement (PPE) in research is increasingly being mandated by funding bodies policy makers. PPE an approach where conducted with or patients the public, making them part of team. In this review article we summarise benefits PPE, state patient wound care, current gaps wounds research, challenges surrounding partnerships. Finally, provide example how to prepare for a project PPE. demonstrate frameworks can guide development strategies build good partnerships and/or members as co-researchers.
